First 1/2 Half Marathon

VFAC was out in force again at the 2014 First 1/2 Half marathon with over 30 participants and plenty of new Personal Bests. Our women were leading the charge again with 5 of the top 10 positions including 2nd for Kimberley Doerksen (PB), 4th for Ellie Greenwood (PB), 6th for Katherine Moore, 9th for Kristin Smart, and 10th for Lissa Zimmer (PB). In the men’s race the performance of the day went to Mark Bennett who ran a new personal best at 53 years old which was a new Canadian and BC Masters Men 50+ record.
