Ferocious wind storm devastates Stanley Park

Out on our run last Friday, Joel and I had the chance to explore the devastation in Stanley Park post-windstorm. Running (or crawling along) on the trails around the mile 5/8 loop as well as mile 7/8, there were massive cedars uprooted or snapped every few feet. The trails were unrecognizable. We definitely won’t be running long intervals in the park for some time to come. When we are back in the park in the New Year, the well-known trails will never look the same. Here’s some information about how you can help: Thank you very much for your interest in helping Stanley Park.
