Steveston IceBreaker 8k – 2 Feb, 2014

VFAC rocked the Steveston Ice Breaker 8k this year with podium finishes in both the women’s and men’s races, and a large number of age group podium places. Of special note were the fantastic performances by the club women taking 5 of the top 6 placings and all of the podium positions. Coming home in a strong run for first place was Catherine Watkins (pictured), followed by Kimberley Doerksen and Anne Marie Madden. In the men’s race, Nicholas Browne had a consistent race to finish in third place with VFAC finishing with 4 spots in the top 10. Note: Course was calculated to be 130m short so times are not recognised as records or for ranking purposes Women:
